Will This Cam Work?

hey everyone I have a question for you. Have a 5.0 with stock E7's. Ported alittle other than that valves, springs, etc are all stock. I want to know will a this cam work well with my heads? Here are the specs: Wolverine Roller Cam, It says advertised duration is 270-intake and 278-exhuast, Intake Lift-.523 and exhuast lift-.544. I just want to know If I can use stock valves and springs with this cam?

not sure about the valves as far as piston to valve clearance but the springs are questionable. try looking at this post, there are more on this subject on the forum search.

whats the motor in? and is it efi or carbed?

You can use it with stock valves and heads.Only limiting factor there are the rocker arms, they could bind with enough lift. Stock springs ? NO, definately, NO. The stock springs will bind with anything over about a .515-.525 lift cam. You'll need to check the piston to valve clearance too. Not just the lift that gets you into trouble, but the duration and open/closing events (intake opening and exhaust closing)
