Exhuast and Guage Install?
Ok Guys,
I finally got around to buying my tires and rims for my lift (5.5" Fabtech all spring and 18x9 Ultra Wheels with BFG 35/12.5x18 Mud Terrains). I'm going to have the lift installed by a shop. I also got a boost and pyrometer guage, 4 inch stainless exhuast and 3.5 inch downpipe, and a Tymar intake. I want to do the exhuast and the guages myself because it doesn't seem like something that is all that difficult. Does anyone have some decent instructions on how to install the guages(they're Auto Meter guages)? And does anyone have any tips for installing the exhuast? It's the Banks Monster Exhuast system. Any tips or help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Exhuast and Guage Install?
I installed 4 inch exhaust from the turbo back, and everything went pretty well. You'll want to have a reciprocating saw with a long metal cutting blade to cut the old exhaust out. It is a lot easier to use than a jig saw for this.
The hardest part was getting the "band" clamp loose from the turbo housing and then getting it lined up and back on.
WD-40 works well on the rubber hangers to allow the mounting "pins" to slide out of the rubber, and back in again.(this is assuming that the Banks kit re-uses the stock hangers)
I had a buddy help install mine, and it took about 4 hours.
I hope this helps.
