Pretty much have zero vibration....I spent a bit of time getting the u-joint angles all matched up underneath. I have them so that the rear is a little low at rest, but once you are on the throttle and that axle twists a little, it's nearly perfect.

I'm sorry to say, that so much play has already done the ring and pinion in. If you were to try to save the ring and pinion, it would certainly sing ...

ONE MORE TIME INTO THE BREACH my friends!

I know you've been back to that place at least once already, right?

Was it originally a gear upgrade that got you in there, or did you break something and then bring it in? I think it was the former, if memory serves.

Quick Fix 101

Hey I was thinking You just went Mudding the other day could it be some dry mud or small stone that gotten up in to the seal cause the leak.

I know dirt bike do this with front fork seals if so take a small paper clip bend it straght put slide one up in to the seal be careful try to hook that dryed mud or small stone out of there it mite work but most of the time on drit bikes most of the time you end up replacing the seals anyways.

It beats replacing the seal if it works you can do this with out removing the driveshaft Quick fix 101.

That's what I was worried about when I crawled under there and moved it around. All I could think of was, "Well here comes a new set of gears and bearings."

Haven't broken anything in there.....it origianlly went in to go from 3.73's to 4.56's and the ARB's.

Well, I guess here is my opportunity to get good at setting up gears.......

I hate having someone else do work on truck for just this reason. At least when you do it yourself, you know that either a) it was done right, and b) you know EXACTLY who to beat when it's done wrong.

No........this is dry rotted. Cut all the way around and has stress cracks across the radius of the seal.
