Interest in long wheelbase frame

Interest in long wheelbase frame
I'm curious on the possible interest of a 1956 long wheelbase 118 inch frame. I recently bought a truck on short notice. I've since leared it is a long wheel base (it was minus the bed). Before I consider cutting the frame to 110 inch I courious if the longer frame is a sought after item as it seams to me it would be easier to shorten the frame than lenghten it??? Basically I'm looking for a frame swap it it is benificial for both parties.
