Engine removal and install costs
What should I expect to pay (at a retail shop) to remove an 352 with manual trans and then install a remanufactured 352? I've been quoted anywhere from $550 to $850. Also, has anyone had any luck with these folks www.rebuilt-auto-engines.com ?

Most shops charge around $60 per hour, so how long do they think it will take? I pull the engine out of my sons truck, drilled out manafoild bolts, made new coolant lines for the auto trans, had lunch and later dinner and reinstalled in @ 6hours.
whats that come to 120.00 ? hehehe
