Rough Idle
OK I'm gonna need a good divorce lawyer if I can't get this new motor to run right after all the money I put in it. Just installed a new vaccum advance (thanks for the advice Putt) and cap and rotor, double checked the firing order and everything, now I feel like my fillings are gonna rattle out of my head at every stop light. Timing is 14 degrees btc idle is roughly 700 rpms, it only has a mild RV cam nothing extream. I don't know where to look any advice is a great help. Thanks

Need to know what motor and carb make and size and settings, ignition type, heads and what has been done to them, waht intake? What cam, specifily duration and lift and whether it was installed straight up or what. What do the spark plugs look like.

Sorry, frustrated, 390, stock heads, peformer intake, 600 cfm edelbrock, duraspark, does have headers also. Duration is 214 @ .050 lift is .466 acording to the specs from the builder, its a crate motor so I don't know a lot about the assembly. Will pull plugs in the morning after everything is cooler.
