I just finished having my Bronco painted. We removed the windshield trim and it got sat on bending it beyond use. I have tried Bronco Graveyard, Dennis Carpenter, LMC, etc. No luck! I have a 1994 with black anodized trim. I have a Ford dealer trying to get me an original part number, but I need these now! Any body got any suggestions?
I don't think that trim changed much, if any over the years. Get your hands on some wherever you can and paint it yourself. It will work at least as a temp fix until you get the right ones.
What part got sat on and bent, was it one piece or all of them? This may help you, LMC trucks has it listed in their catalog. moulding sides (right and left) for the 91-96 (and it is black) is listed for about $55 a side, the upper right side is listed for about $40 (they only show the right side as available, no word on the left side) and the lower is listed for about $80.
If you are interested, I have an 83 Bronco I am going to start stripping some small parts off of, and it has all its window trim still, but it's the stainless steel... but the stainless is the same for 80 thru 96 (you could do as was previously suggested and paint it black for the time being until you get the original ones you want). You would need to clean it some with steel wool to remove some light overspray from a bad Maaco paint job , and there is a very light depression on the lower piece near the drivers side wiper (I only found it when I ran my hand across it, otherwise I would never have seen it). If you are interested in it, send me a message and we can see what we can arrange...and I will do my very best to remove it without damamging it.
Mike
