I do have a crew cab...4 full size doors and a long box. I am not sure where all I would need hangers, but I figured I would start at the "Y" and work my way back with the 90*s and straight pieces. I know the body of the cab is wider at the bottom corners and narrower at the top. I have seen stacks that follow the coutours of the cab...they are dumptruck stacks. This would eliminate the heat shields and Im not crazy about that. The heat shields look good...and as far as brackets, I was looking at a truck shop last friday and there was a truck there with a stainless steel angle that went around the corner and it had a stand-off bracket with 2 holes in it where the stack bracket bolted to. I know the stand-off bracket would have to be longer at the top, but I think going straight up would look good.....As for the mirror thing...I see the rear fenderwells now as it is a dually and I can barely see the tires on the trailer...I had 2 flats on the last trip so I pretty well try to watch the tires when I can and I always keep the CB on....I had a trucker pull up and yell at me and tell me I shreaded a tire about 8 miles back!! Not much tire left, but no damage to the trailer or wheel...I think the view will be no problem, but I may get it all together and hate it....but I doubt it!! Looking forward to the results....Thanks for all the input...Dave

Hey guys,
jeez I post a thread and don't look at it for three days. . . I'm slippin. Anyway, the closest thing I've seen is those big ear ones. . . they don't turn out as far as the bull hauler. I'll need to find a few more pictures to make my decision. Dave you're out of control!!! I was going to put my stacks flush with the outside of the bed. . . which meaned cutting a radius into the front corners of the bed. But that proved not only a lot of work(I'm always up for a challenge) but also it would look goofy because the stacks would not conform to the curve of the bed. I personally think you would be dissapointed with the final product. did you ever think of side pipes? Well back to checking out stacks. and thanks everyone for the help. Who gets the twenty bucks?
Tim
