300 I6 O2 sensor

I just got a CEL on my '96 300ci truck. Auto Zone found codes for O2 sensor so I bought one but when I look under the hood it appears it has one on both exhaust manifolds? Is this right or am I looking in the wrong spot / at the wrong thing?

I'm surprised nobody has answerd you yet.
I dont know the answer, and by now you probably have it fixed anyway, but logiclly thinking, you'd need one on both pipes.
The Computer treats your engine like two seperate, Three cylinder engines.

Change one and see if the problem goes away. I'd bet the back sensor is the culprit.

96 is the first year for obd II and i think it has two o2 sensors because of that.

looked it up in 96 ford manual and for the 300 it shows two, one for each manifold, ford part number 9F472 for both.
