Harmonic Balancer Removal...352FE

Before I screw something up, can someone tell me which way the large bolt in the center of the balancer is threded?.Is it a standard or reverse threds? I'm trying to remove the timing chain cover to inspect the timing chain. The three surronding bolts came out fine...The balancer really wants to spin when I put the pressure to that center bolt..Any tips on stopping that? Should I NOT use an air impact on the thing? Appreciate any help..

Lefty loosy, righty tighty.

Also, use a air gun and put a couple drops of air tool oil in your gun, if it's struggling with it.

I put a bar/screw driver thiugh the side of the balancer to the lip of the oil pan, or anywhere on the front of the engine to hold the engine from turning.

Use a 1/2 in socket and whack it with a mallet, stay clear of the recoil/spin..it'll break loose in 2-3 whops. nothing to it
