New Intake/Check Engine light

New Intake/Check Engine light
I just installed a new intake (CGS intake sysytem) on my 2004 FX4 5.4L and after running it for about two days the check engine light came on.. I took the intake off and put the stock one back on because i am getting my cam phasers replaced at the dealership and i just didnt want to have and issues witht he aftermarket intake.. they ran it and the computer program (light was still on but with stock intake) and the program found no codes and the light jsut turned off... when i get the truck back i plan and putting the intake back on along with a trottle body spacer i have just recieved. what can be done to the the heck engine light from coming on if indeed my intake did cause it? will and edge evo fix this?

I had the same problems with the ariraid at times I checked the codes and it was a lean condition at one of the cats. Make sure all the seals are tight and you have to unhook the battery so the computer resets itself. It should adjust to the increased airflow. Hope it helps.
