So I find out the Hella 550's each have a pedestal stud mount. I want to install each in the OEM bumper cutout that is inlayed with plastic. Can anyone tell me if the 550's stud mount is permanently affixed? Can it be removed? Or is it cast as part of the housing? The OEM cutouts ( air dams?) measure about 7.25 X 3.25- the 550's would fit with a little cutting of the black plastic inlay. But is that stud mount 1/2", 3/4" or what? thanks

Go to eBay and check Bones Enterprises eBay store. I got mine from them and they were Ford factory accessory lights complete with wiring switches, etc. The install is SOOOOO much cleaner and easier with the factory part and they are Hella. I have the '96 style front bumper but mounted them in the factory holes under the center opening.
