I haven't really had a chance to work the truck hard to be able to answer, but I am sure that I could come up with the same results as Rich in CO.
And I live in Seattle where the weather is very mild. If it gets up over 80 degress we all start wilting because nobody is used to the heat.

Just curious as to whether this is available directly from Ford?

i did a little more than Kwik and probably more than "necessary" (afterall i am an ENTHUSIAST not a ford truck owner) and went big on the hole.
there have been a few bugs in the back part of the battery tray....
