Ais

Is this the correct AIS system for the powerstroke or a stock box mis-labeled?
Thanks,
RC

It sure looks like what I put in my truck...is the filter element about 6 inches deep...if so, that is it.

Yep that's the one. I highly recommend the unit. I went with the sleve, and already did the zoodad, and she flows just fine for my mods.

Install that puppy and do the zoodad mod while you are at it and watch your EGT gauge drop 100-150 degrees, at least that is what I saw with the AIS/BTM combo. Gotta love that!!! Not to mention nothing will filter better.

My apologies for stepping into this thread. I installed an AIS air filter in my truck, but I have no idea what the zoodad mod is. Can anyone tell me how that is done.

Once you get it installed, you may consider a foam fender sleeve.

What benefit would I see from the additional foam sleeve?

More airlflow, and cooler EGT's. I reccomend using it with the AIS system if you have any amount of mods including chip, exhaust, etc

Yes, AIS all the way. Kinda pricey but very much worth it.
Kind of like taking a brutal beast and making is slightly less brutal but now it's civilized.

Hey Dan,
Are your EGT's dropping faster when stopped with the AIS compared to the 6637? I've been thinking about going with the AIS to shorten cool down time. Temps go down fairly slow with the 6637 and hot summer weather. Thanks.
