Transimission is shifting hard.
My 92 F150, i believe has an e40d transmission. The transmission is shifting hard, and engine revs high whenever it does shift. The fluid is fine. What could be the problem

hey guys I have a 93 Ford F150. Short Wheel Base. With 5.8 351. 4X4. I went out to drive it today and when I drove it it acted fine. Went to get in it to leave and it started shifting hard. Sometime you can drive it and it shifts fine and sometimes you drive it and it shifts hard...... Can anyone help me or tell me what they think is wrong with it

The first thing to do is read the codes. Most likely one or more codes are stored in the computer that will lead to the problem.
