try FTE member "springirl", she has the spring interface reference manual for all springs.
or you can compare the springs on national parts depot, suspension catalog.

The rear springs on your truck are narrower. 2 3/4" I think, than a 78-79 bronco, which has 3" leaves. Not sure about the early bronco leaves, I think they are 3" too. One thing you may want to try is different rear shackle setup. Me and my friend with a 77 250 were over a buddys house (chebby guy) when we noticed that a parts truck in his yard had the same width springs as his 77. And the shackles on the truck also dropped maybe 4-6" below the frame. He took the shackles and mounts off the truck and will try to put them on his 77 in the next few weeks. If it all works out he will get about half a foot of lift from it. When we do it I will let you know how it worked out.

Depends on if the F250 is an early or late model. The early 77 F250 4x4 ("Hi-boy") has narrower rear springs but if it's a late model (77.5) then the rear springs will be 3" and will fit fine. If you're not sure just measure your rear spring width. My rear springs are for a 78/79 Bronco.

Early Bronco leaves are 2.25 inches wide, exact width as Hi Boy but shorter distance between spring hangers.

Glad someone bumped this thread. We actually finished the Chevy spring hangar swap last weekend. We ended up using 2 sets of front hangars because they drop like 5-6 inches below the frame, the rear hangars aren't much different then the stock Ford ones, and a shackle flip in the rear. It gave him roughly 8-10". Not exactly sure, didn't break out the tape measure yet. The Chevy hangars also sit farther out from the frame rails then the Ford ones so the springs won't line up right. But we have a grinder and a welder, so we just moved the perches over and it worked perfectly.

Have anyone tried swaping front leaf springs on a 78 F250 with super duty front springs? I had a set of 2004 f250 front springs givin to me and I am going to try to put them under my f250 to replace the worn out front springs. Hopefully I can get to it next week if it all works out.
