I have a line on a...well 2 '79 f-100's. The one I want is a step side shortbed. I hasn't been started in 2 years(at least) and has alot of rust(major bodywork project) It supposedly runs but needs work. Interior is rough, needs tires...has a bad oil leak from what I could see.
The other is a shortbed, also reputed to run...with a little work. It has a bigger engine and is in better shape.
I just wonder what kind of price tag they should have. I know pics would help. This is really all the info I have on them.
Well it all depends how much do trucks in your area in the same condition and similar truck go for check around like paper in the classifieds or the trader if there really in bad shape but run he shouldnt be asking too much for the trucks...
A rough call? $500 for anything that's needs "a little work" the seller will bitch about it but they're not ever worth what you want. Owning an older ford is a labor of love, not money.
