My new truck doent seem to start right up. I feel that it is cranking a little more than it should. It has a new set of gps and gp relay. What could cause this?
Also, it has a slightly rough idle what can i do for that?
Thanks, Jeremy
I can see why old nasty diesel would give a hard start condition, but why would old motor oil do that?
Because the injectors in our trucks are pressurized by engine oil via the HPOP.... thus old/crapy oil= poor injector recovery time, especially during starting

Robbgt , thanks you're giving me hope that my some what delayed start and low idle may be related to old motor oil, tomorrow will tell with the new Rotella T oil and FL1995 filter........
The engine oil only has about 20 miles on it but i believe its a quart low does that make a difference im gunna put a quart in it later. New 1000amp batteries. It looks to be a recently newer napa reman starter. It spins fast.
