TransX additive

I have a 77 F-150 with a 460 and a C6 and the transmission slips pretty bad when I pull a decent load or when I'm on the interstate doing 75+. Would adding a full bottle of TransX help it? If I do add some, should I drain it and replace it with fresh fluid after that or just leave it in? I rarely drive this truck (a day or two a month) but when I do I tend to beat on it some. Thanks.

I have used TransX for years and had good results.
But it is not a mechanic in a can.

Drain "ALL" the fluid and add a can.

I wouldn't personally, that sounds like your seals are going and adding that will swell them for a while, but this is like putting a bandaid on your juggular to stop the bleeding.
