what option is this
I'm looking at trading my beloved '04 FX4 for an '06 model. I'm only interested in the trucks with the flow-thru console. Which option is this? I want to look through lot inventories before I go there and i dont want to waste my time looking at the shift-on-the-column style. The sales guy I talked with didn't know.

It's optional on the FX4 and Lariat, standard on the King Ranch. It's not available on other trim levels if their site is correct:

It's my understanding it's how they fill the space between the seats on the cap'n chair models, but there's no actual option of the console, it just happens to be on these models. I have seen it in an xl with the cloth captains chairs so it's not just on the top of the line models. I do beleive it has to be a supercab though. I could be wrong about that though

I think what you want is only available with the FX4 or Lariat package, which includes the King Ranch.

Thanks for all the responses... I traded in my '04 FX4 and now I've got an '06 Lariat sitting in the garage now
