If they made a run of them i would want atleast 3 kits. LWB 4x4, SWB 2wd & a 78 bronco w/ a lift. I could deal w/o a lifted kit, just rearch the leafs.
From one blurb I read on this 79 it sounded like it was already in production but I too checked the site again and they're forecasting august delivery. Model Roundup has pics of four builtup test shots that look decent. I've got my preorder in for one. Maybe I should make it two I've got a 77 and a 79 with grills and a couple of boxes left over from my younger building days but I'm going to use one in a conversion to a 67-72 when I can get motivated to start. I sure agree with you Dennis that we have to keep nailing these manufacturers with emails and letters to produce models we're looking for. Don't forget diecast companies like Sunstar, Maisto and others.
i normally customize my model cars if i have them...i have built about 20...or at least half built...my most recent was a 59 impala a 65 el camino and a 57 chevy cameo...i havent had many ford vehicles as models...from what i remember all ive done is a 32 3window coupe.and a mercury cougar. i really want about 6 of them trucks especially if i can get 77 grille for them...2wd would be great as well
Back in 1992 my storage locker in a storage yard was broke into.
Some of the things they netted was 160+ model kits in plastic wrapped boxes.
Most being Fords and the collection included model back to about 1968 when I started just collecting.
The only thing the police recoverd from that theft was my Pellet Gun.
