Ive got a 78-79 Super Camper special I bought on Ebay.
It needs some cleaning up and a paint job.
Its about 1:24 or 25 scale.
I was going to paint it the same colour as my SCS but its still sitting in the cupboard.
I could probably part with it if anyone was intrested in it.
and i want the 77 Truck or the Golden one that just says Ford Truck if anybody knows of one let me know...i want to experiment with ideas without using my actual truck lol
ya, I'll put em on here this afternoon, but the model is still far from finished, I'm waitin on some custom parts, like an air bag kit and some wheels and tires,
thanks Tractor Boy...i took a look at your truck in the gallery. That thing is almost beat worse than mine.Thats hard to imagine for me lol. Mine has some serious floor and rocker/cab corner rust and no bed. The motor mounts for the 300 I6 are about to break and everything. Its a big project for me at 15. I need a model to experiment with ideas without cutting my real truck up.
If anybody knows where i can get a model kit of a 73-77 Ford truck let me know i really want one.(price doesnt really matter as long as its reasonable) i do not mind if it is a 78-79 but i rather have 73-77 becuz the grille style is like my 77
Maybe you guys can find the Model kit threads I created and posted in this forum from the past 5 years and send an e-mail to Ford and ERTL (named in those threads of mine ) asking them to reproduce these trucks ?
I think you missed my first post in this thread, Dennis. It was to let everyone know that someone IS reproducing the 79 AMT Ford 4x4. The story I hear on this Model King guy is that he makes a deal with AMT/Revell to repair damaged/worn molds that they don't want to play with and is allowed to make a limited run of kits from them. I don't think it would be long before Mr Holthaus or one of the other resin casters reproduce the 73-4 and 75-77 grills and maybe the 2wd front end parts if the demand appears. Now we have to convince someone to model a 67-72 F series

Reason: adding info
Mk, I read that then I went and looked on the web site and it said: TBA
My Threads have been about writing all the Model kits makers and Ford Licensing department about the Ford company licensing companies like ERTL/AMT Revell, etc into creating these kits as I could sell 500,000 of them ...if they made them.
