lol..sorry and one more thing, whats my best option for installing these into my factory spots on my doors, do i just want to put them in straight in there just like i would any other speaker or what?....if there is something i should do please tell me exactly what i should do step by step, im not experienced with this component stuff crutchfield just recommends these foam baffles for it?...what should i do?..and do i really nead to sound deaden it?

I had those speakers in another car I owned a few years ago. Likely an ealrier model speaker than what you've got now, which I assume are newer than like 8 years old.
Separates are the way to go, IMHO. They almost always offer great sound. And Infinitys are very nice. You will be happy with them.
I can tell you that receiver power ratings are typically at high levels of distortion ,so that 50 watts per channel isn't very clean, and won't sound as good as a dedicated 50 watts per channel external amp. Let alone a 600-watt amp.
I'm not a huge audiophile, but I would hook them up to the amp, using the crossover that the components came with.
If your amp is stout, you can hook all four speakers up to the amp, though this will drop the ohm rating so it's gonna run hotter - make sure its well ventilated. But if it's a 600-watt quality amp, it should be fine. There should be a swtch on it for ohms, set it to the lower setting. In the car that I ran these speakers in, I had 4x6s in the back. I ran all four via a 2-channel, 50-watts-per-channel Denon amp. Worked great.
My truck is different than yours, but I run my Polk separate behind the factory grilles so as not to attract attention. I put the tweeters in the "shark fin" on the door - this covers the mirror mounting location.
alright i just hooked my amp up in my truck speakers dont come til friday tho, one problem...its a 4ch amp but only 2 of them are working, what should i do?...i cant afford to buy a new amp right now....whats my best option on using the 2 working channels?...another thing, i mounted the amps side by side and for some reason im getting feedback from the other amp to my subs, why is this, i cant get the RCA's more than 2 feet away from each other...thanks
Why are only 2 channels working? Have you tried moving around the RCA cables to see if it's just bad RCA cables or is it really the channels. What kind of amp is it?
400 watt 4ch. so im assuming 4x100 Jensen, i know thats cheap..lol...but it DID work well for me
another thing, my infinity reference speakers have a RMS of 2-75, if im using that amp and only 2 channels work.....that means im gonna be pumping approx. 100 watts to each cross over and to the speakers right?....can someone show me a wiring diagram for components?...im confused on them...there are 4 speaker wires that go into the crossover from the 2 components, then just 2 speaker wires going from the crossover to the amp correct? so just those 2 channels will be sufficent enough for me right?...cause im just gonna run my rear 5x7's off my h/u

But that Jensen amp isn't putting out anywhere close to 100 watts per channel. I'm sure that's it's max watts put out, not RMS. It will sound better than HU but still not be that great. What you could do is split up the 2 channels you have working into right and left and then run front and back off the same channel.
On the crossover question, you have a (+) and (-) input to it, then you'll have a set of + and - for high frequencies (tweeter) and a + and - for the lower frequencies (mid-bass woofer).
well i only bought one set of components thats for the front doors, im not gonna run any rear speakers off them.....just the component, how would i set them to left and right, just hook straight up to channel a...then to channel b or what? sorry im still learning at this stuff
The amp hooks up to the crossover. Just plug the crossovers into the amp like a speaker, one per side. The crossover just directs the proper frequencies to the proper speakers (highs to the tweeter, lows to the mid/woofer).
The crossover then goes to the proper speaker. It should be labelled so you hook them up correctly, but you'll know if they aren't hooked up correctly because it won't sound good at all.
Hook it up, then listen at a low volume at first to make sure everything is OK.
