87 samurai
1) new rad fan and clutch( truck was overheating)

94 lincoln conti
1) new engine a month ago( original toasted by prior owner)
2) rebuilt tranny after fluid leak fromm belhousing
3) new air ride compresser( now also have 2 spare working comps, hoping to mount one in the bronco to fill tires after off roading)

90 cadillac eldorado
1) new cat converter
2) tune up( cap, rotor, wires, plugs(what a PITA), fuel filter....)

Man, I haven't had the time to check in here at ALL lately!

Not only the V10 forum, but the SD and now the FE forum as well!

Sheesh... fox in the henhouse, eh?

Well, over Labor Day weekend, I did some pulling with the SD - nothing much, just a fun picture or two:

Pulling dead trees out of the woods, and this particular one was wedged up over a walking path we were clearing - I'll be back in October to finish up - there's another one way back that's about 2 feet in diameter. And solid

JD - glad the house is coming along. Do you have a buyer?? Wow!! You got a lot done on the vehicles. Sounds like you got more to do (don't we all).

Art - nice to have you drop in. Haven't talked to you in a long time in the NY forum, but you have been doing a great job in the V10 and Super Duty forums. When did you get the FE forum? Post here when you can. It is always nice to hear from you. BTW great pictures on SD at work!!

tiny1 - host a G2G and we will come to stack your wood for you. Barr and I did some stuff around his house at his G2G. Made his wife happy.

I asked for it a month or so ago, and it was turned on, and no one ever said anything more to me about it, and it was never announced. I don't mind though, the fanfare for that one wasn't something I wanted to rub the FE guys' noses in.

I plan on going back Upstate next month, and finishing what I started. It's a pretty rocky, slimy, loamy walking path. Doing it in the SD should be fun at least once or twice before I get bored ... there's a 2-foot diameter, 60 foot long tree that needs to move... I think I'll cut it up first ... too bad my back tires are almost bald ...

Art - belated congratulations on the FE forum. I am sure you will do a great job there as you have at the V10 and SD forums.

Have fun clearing out the walking path. I did that earlier this summer clearing trees on our property. I should have taken pictures however I used the Rover instead of the SD. The Rover was already all scratched up from wheeling and I didn't want to do that to the SD. One tree we pulled out caused the Rover to pull a wheelie which was interesting to say the least.

You need a longer wheelbase

My rear tires are bald from the V10 and the limited-slip, so I'm not in any danger of doing a wheelie

Actually the Rover was an LWB but at only 108 inches that is pretty short compared to the SD. I just didn't want to scratch the SD up in the bush when I didn't have to. Now I guess the SD will be doing all the dirty work now that I don't have a wheeling rig!!

What am I doing?

Sitting here crying over our loss to the Giants.

Plotting revenge for the next meeting.

Taking some solace in the fact that Mr. Barber didn't get one of his traditional breakaway runs against us.

Did I mention plotting revenge?

There's still the game at Giants stadium, maybe we can have a multi state tailgating GTG with us Pennsy guys in full EAGLES Regalia and some crying towels for you Manning fans. You can mop up the tears from Strahan and Shockey.

It wasn't polite to say the EAGLES stink, I'm not saying the Giants suck.

I save that for Dallas.

you're right that was rude(but true)

hopefully T.O. will do to dallas what he did to the Eagles by the looks of the Giants defense so far this year we might need everyone else to fall apart

Eagles AND Dallas STINK!! (strahan) (what we did to Eagles)
(what would happen if we tailgated!)

did I mention I LOVE FOOTBALL!!

How dare you put us in the same category of stench as Dallas.

Compared to them we are just a little phft next to their BBBBBRRRRRAAAAAPPPPP.

What defense are you talking about? Surely not the one exhibited Sunday. Defense was truly a foreign language to the Giants for the first three quarters. How many sacks did we have for the day?

The fourth quarter was only to make you guys feel good. The rest of the year is a comin.

Hey Mr Schwenk,
Guess it isn't only the Seahawks at the shore that annoy or crap on you. Eagles, Seahawks, doesn't really matter. The birds look out for each other.
