Well I only got the SD done. It is a long way around that thing and I had to clean out the garage so the wife could get my....I mean her Range Rover in it. She didn't understand why I didn't get the Rover done too so I guess that is next weekend's project along with clearing the land of overgrown branches so that I can mow without some tree branch trying to remove me from the mower.

Charlie - what is in the Camaro? Sounds like fun. Oh yeah!!! Go do some wheelies and big long smokey burnouts.!!! Good luck on the neck. I can't imagine the pain however I didn't feel too good when one of my 33-inch tires chased me down the the basement stairs and pinned me against the wall.

Wow!! Big block is right. I doubt you would have any problems doing wheelies with that setup. Always nice to have some toys around unfortunately I sold all of mine to buy my house and have to start over. Oh well, I think they went for a good cause. My SD and Range Rover have kept me happy in the meantime.

Charlie - now you had some "real" toys!! Mine were just toys in the sense that they were for fun, but nothing special like your vette, nomad, and superbird. I sold off my 1986 Honda CRX Si (street legal track car) and 1985 Volvo 740 Turbo wagon (former club racer before the CRX) to buy the house. The CRX is about the only thing that has appreciated in value due to the import tuner scene, but considering I was able to sell it for what I purchased it for I figure I made out. My only regret is I miss how much fun those cars were to drive and the track time!! I can't imagine your pain looking back on your cars.

So what is everyone doing???

Wow!!! It sure got quiet around here!!! I had a family picnic this weekend so I wasn't on the boards too much. Only enough to reply to anyone's requests or answer a few questions.

So what is everyone doing? Where did you all go? Post up so that I know there is more than just me on the NY forum.

I'm just waiting for No. 2 son to get back with the new (used) truck. He's out in Chicago now, picking up two trucks. A 2005 D_d_e for a buddy of mine, and my little dump truck. Nerve racking - I hate waiting. Other than that, lately its been flood stuff - all projects got put on hold.

It's summer time. I've been 'wheeling and wrenching my EB. Went down to Paragon for the Mid-Atlantic Broncos round-up and Bronco 40th anniversary party. They gave away over $43,000 in prizes! Paragon is amazing. Over 150 miles of trails. Anyrhing from stock to "I can't even walk that" trails.
I couldn't find any local ford off-road clubs so I went on a trail ride last weekend with Adirondack Jeeps. Good bunch of guys. I think I need to get some lower gears and lockeers to keep up with them though.

Been busy trying to clear up and settle my Father's estate. He had a trust set up to make things easier but it is still a pita. Also been mowing every other day around the raindrops. And reflecting, as I mow, about the diff vehicles I have to mow around and move before mowing. Such as: 78 F150 SC,79 F150SC 7n LTD, 85 Merc GM, 81 Merc GM (got it free on ebay), 54 F100, 70 F100, 71 F250, 67 F100, 68 Gal 500, 68 Gal 500XL, 66 F100 ( $1 on ebay-but,cost $60 in truck and people food to get it), 66 F100,69 F100, 89 Cv LTD,89 F250 SC,00 Expy,00 Merc GM, 84 Merc GM, 86 F250 SC, 83 LTD CV, 93 CV, 76 Elite, 75 Elite, 67 LTD, 76 LTD, 32 Chev doodle bug, 32 Chev (in garage so I don't have to mow around it), car trailer, 5 and 56 F100 frames, trailer made from a 54 truck box, trailer made from a 75 truck box, trailer from toyota box, a 2000super duty box, and a small utility trailer. Just got rid of a 93 CV P1 after pulling eng trans and rear axle (had a Ford reman 4.6 with low miles) Thing is 8 are licensed 7 from NC or VA. Time to finish up some projects as some were bought as parts vehicles. Tires me out just typing this in...

Ken - do you have pictures from your outings? I would be interested in seeing them especially from your Paragon trip and the Bronco anniversary event. So did you win anything?!?!

GLR - LOL!!! You have a fleet at your place!!! I guess I will have to make it down to your place to see them all. Sounds interesting. Post up your projects in the projects thread so we can watch your progress!!

I didn't take too many pics. I was busy driving.I'll see what I can dig up. I might have some more after the magazines come out that were riding with us! I won a $40 dollar gift certificate to tom's bronco parts and a few t shirts.

Ken - I hear you. Same thing happens to me too. I use to wheel with 3 other people in the Rover so I could give my camera to someone to take pictures, but lately it has been just me in the rig. That is cool that you won something. I normally don't ever win anything.

Hey post up in the G2G thread as there seems to be a couple of people around the Albany area that would like to get together just to meet in person. It would be a haul for me, but maybe I could make down too. Thanks!!
