E4OD questions

I bought a rebuilt trans yesterday for $150 it has 5,000 miles on it. The trans in my 92 is shot. Now i got some questions.
1. How much fluid does a E4OD hold?
2. Do i need to fill the TQ convertor first before installing?
3. It has some kind of electronic box on it called Interceptor. What is this?
4. Should i leave it on there or remove it?

The guy i got it from said the trans shop that rebuilt talked him into buying it and he has never touched it. He said it shifted great.

it looks like to me that the metal on the face of the torque converter is blueish purple, wich tells me that the converter clutch is slipping.any reason why the trans was rebuilt 5k ago and someone pulled it out to sell.if the converter is dry dump 2 qts mercon 3 in it and install .the box changes the resistance/voltage to the trans to increase line pressure for more poss. shift feal,as for the converter lock up i have no idea.good luck

The truck it was in was totalled. The trans has been sitting covered in a barn for 3yrs with fluid still in it. Should i change fluid in the convertor? Or leave it? As for the color of the convertor it's just the picture.
