My dealer states that the TSB I gave him from this site is not an offical Ford document and something made up by this site. I gave him a copy TSB 05-26-7 and he states that they are unaware of this problem and have never heard of it.... Am I being scammed by my Ford dealer and if is who do I contact to make this right,,,, they don't want to replace the front tires even though the TSB clearly states that there is a serious problem. They want me to pay over $300 for two tires

 

sure its not 05-26-24 ? tire and wheel runout. a tsb is not a recall, its just a guideline on how to repair one.

 

Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs) are issued by vehicle manufacturers to help automotive technicians diagnose and repair problems reported by consumers and repair shops.

If they were not aware of the problem, now they are informed, and you helped them get informed and helped them diagnose the problem.

 

no I have the right one, if you read it it gives guidelines and procedures to correct the problem but the dealer said that this does not apply to my vehicle and that the tsb is not from ford. so i paid 132. for tire rotation and front end alignment and they said that i should replace the two worn tires since they are dangerous

 

Take it to another dealer. Especially if the truck is still under warranty.
