ac pump clutch
on my 89, i cant get power to the clutch on the compressor, can i just run a toggle to it, and on which of the 2 wires do i need 12 on, and whats the other one for?

The problem with running the clutch from a direct wired switch is that you would bypass the low press. switch. This prevents the comp. clutch engageing if you are low on gas. You may have a faulty low press switch or you may be low on gas. As for the two wires I can only think that one is a ground. Get a meter and check the wires going into the clutch. If one is ground you will get a direct short reading with the other reading a resistance for the clutch windings. Good luck.
