Why would the wires need to be changed? Couldn't you clean them up with carb cleaner and dielectric grease?
Yeah, you were pretty close. He said (and even showed me) that the wires had some of the oil seeping into them. If I just replaced the sensor, it wouldn't do me any good unless I changed the wires as well. So that's something that I have to take care of. Depending on how much money I have left, I may take off the vavle covers and replace my glow plugs as well. I'm glad I didn't need some new injectors or even a whole new block.
