Strait Pipes
I have a '92 Ranger and im just curious on how much strait pipes would cost if i did them myself or if i got them done....mainly the question is what would be cheaper? also on a lift kit should i get the pipes done before or after on a 3" lift kit

Get them done after the lift, it's easier cause ther's more space. Also, what kind of engine do you have. If you put some straight pipes on there, it might sound like an angry bee. Or worse, like an import.

4 banger is gonna sound like crap with straight pipe. Pipe...it has one exhaust manifold. You're gonna need some sort of muffler to make it sound like anything other than a four banger (that's the bee noise...).

Hmmm, the sound is going to remind me of my weed whacker or leaf blower

Your best bet is to get a single exhaust with a turbo muffler of some kind. You could have that split into duals, but you only need one muffler. I would go with a 2.25" tubing for a single exhaust, ans if you get is split into duals, go with 1.75" or 2" tubing for the tailpipes. A glasspack is out of the question unless you really live your weedeater and you want to be reminded of it everywhere you go.

Oh my, strait pipes on a 4. Dude it's gonna sound like crap with no muffler. ****ty and annoying is more like it. I got video of a buddy of mine's s-10 with strait pipes and it sounds like crap if u care to see it. But hey, if you want it, by all means have at it. It's your ride
