Sorry for this thread in this forum, but I asked this in the Superduty forum and as usuall got 0 responses!
Has anybody put headrests on the rear seat in a Crew Cab or know a kit that will allow me to do this?
Don't know of any kits, but I am looking for the front seats out of an extended cab, cloth 40/20/40 to put in the rear. I think it would be pretty cool with full sized seats in the back, pretty sure there is enough room.
yea i remember someone that found a kit that allows you to fold the back seat into a bed i would love that. wish i remembered who had done this and where they got it. anybody know?
The guy that manufactures this fold-down seat that converts to a bed regularly lists them on eBay. They are electrically operated, and go for somewhere around $550 if I remember correctly. That's NOT leather.
Sorry I don't have an immediate URL for his page, but I'm trying to stay away from there. You think PMS is bad? Try getting hooked on ebay! ;-)))
I am also looking for some kind of headrest kit for the rear seats. I would hate for someone to smack their head on the glass if I were hit from behind. I have a 2000 F250 Crew with grey cloth seats. Did any of the other years up to 03' come with headrests in the back seat. If I couln't find a headrest kit I would be interested in replacing the seat with one that has headrests.
hmm this is interesting. i would like to do this too..also wished the front seats headrests came off so i could put dvd players in the front driver and passenger seats...
I saw a set of rear seats a while back on Craigslist from a 2006 Lariat that would fold flat in the rear and also had OEM head rests... they looked awesome, but were not cheap... IIRC...something like $800-$900 for the rear seat package in leather.

My father has an '04 superduty crewcab and he has the rear cloth seats with headrests. I've been looking for this mod myself with no luck unless you get lucky at a salvage yard or fleabay. Like Pop says, I try to stay away from fleabay, waaaay to tempting...
When I had all the seats out to do some sound deadening stuff, I put my front seats in back. The definately fit, all that is needed is some mounting hardware. I haven't been able to find seats still for a price I am willing to pay. They did seem like it would make it a little more difficult to get in, but overall ride comfort would probably be better.
