Summit Shorty Headers with bungs?

Summit Shorty Headers with bungs?
OK, So I ordered Summit's shorty truck headers (SUM-G9035) to replace the cracked manifolds on my 90 F150 (302 auto). I was glad to see that they arrived today, but when I opened them I found that each header has a bung near where they connect to the Y pipe. Problem is that my stock setup does not have these bungs. I tried to find a plug at the hardware store that would fit but had no luck. I think I will exchange them for a FlowTech set that appears to not have the bungs, but has anyone else run into this? The bungs must be for emmissions equipment.
