Mufflers
I have been researching mufflers for my 06 F-250 5.4 and it looks to me like the Magnaflow 12578 might be a good choice for fit and performance. It is 3" in and out, off centers 5" X 11" oval, 22" case and 28" OA length. I think the V-10's use the same exhaust system as the V-8's. Since the truck came with a 3" SS exhaust system, I thought I'd just replace the muffler. It seems that no one makes an exact replacement muffler for this application, and an exhaust shop would have to cut in in and either use part of the original piping or add and shape a piece of 3" tubing. Have any of you used this muffler? or what have you used?
