Hey I was wondering if anyone could help me, I had a dead battery after not driving for a couple of days and noticed a clicking sound under the dash after I put the charger on the battery. then I noticed the hvac was running and the key was not in the ignition. I then figured I had/have a short somewhere.. It sounds like relays are pulling in and out. we have had alot of rain lately. any help would be greatly appreciated....Thanks for the help.
The most common cause of the problem you have is water in the fuse box under the dash from a leaking windshield. Sometimes it also gets into the GEM (Generic Electronic Module) which attaches to the back of the fuse box.
The cure is to get the windshield resealed and replace the fuse box.
