Power Loss While Driving
Power Loss While Driving
I have a 2003 F250 Super-duty with a 6.0. While driving in town I noticed the A/C air getting warmer and all the instrument gauges not working. The radio, emergency blinkers, cabin lights and so on were also not working but the A/C fan was still on. Before I could stop the engine stalled, When I tried to start the engine, nothing happened, not even clicking sounds. After getting the truck pushed off the road I again tried to start the truck, it did not start but I did hear the clicking sound and I noticed the gauges now had power. I had problem with the batteries several months ago, I had to jump them every time I wanted to start the truck. The Alternator and batteries where checked by a reliable mechanic and I was told the alternator was in great shap, the problem was with the batteries. I replaced the batteries and had no issues for the last several moths until no. What do you think? I want to thank everyone in advance for any help they may be able to give me.

Watching NASCAR and drinking beer.
