I think the 71 was made about a year earlier LOLOLOLOLOL
Seriously I think they are pretty much identical body style and frame wise, except for some cosmetic changes to the grille. Could have different engine tranny combos, but that would be the same for trucks of the same year.
I will let the experts answer more as I have been wrong before..
Ya, the main thing is the cosmetic changes. Everthing is alright but the grill, a tail light, and a few reflectors. Everthing like that may be identical b/w a 71 and a 72, but I just wanted to make sure. Thanks for the help.
