in total sarcasm i propose this to be pondered... monday, hoardes of people marched for the "rights" of some 12,000,000 illegal trespassers. i wonder why we don't allow the entire prison, local jail populations to organize rallies to get thier rights back. hey they are criminals to, deserving of the same "rights" that the illegals and thier backers are demanding. imagine umpteen bank robbers, Lord knows how many murderers, rapists, and freak show wingnuts, mobilizing supporters if they thought they could could regain the right to vote, gain social services, and all other liberties that the law abiding immigrants have EARNED. lets give back driving licences to drunks that killed someone. hey, they deserve "rights" demanded by the illegals. they must have some hardship that the gov. should overlook

Why cant we get with the Mexican government on this issue ?

The Mexican government is the most to blame in the immigration issue !

Why dont they take steps to stop this ? ..

No supply/demand arguement. (Business can good in Mexico!)

As a paramedic in California I have to deal ILLEGALS all the time. Its ILLEGALS in my town that are getting into DUI car accidents, shooting and stabbing each other and breaking into peoples cars and houses. These same people use 911 for every little medical problem they have and give out false information so they dont have to pay.

The solution to the problem is to make it mandatory for law enforement to report and or detaine ILLEGALS as they are found. Right now in many places it is against policy for most departments to turn over information on ILLEGALS to immigration enforcement agencies. That is just totally wrong.

As a Paramedic in California I just dont see the benifit of ILLEGALS. I see way more negative effects on our economy and society than any benifit.

At least in California you can and I am sure in every other state also. Never says they have to be a citizen.

"187. (a) Murder is the unlawful killing of a human being, or a
fetus, with malice aforethought.
(b) This section shall not apply to any person who commits an act
that results in the death of a fetus if any of the following apply:
(1) The act complied with the Therapeutic Abortion Act, Article 2
(commencing with Section 123400) of Chapter 2 of Part 2 of Division
106 of the Health and Safety Code.
(2) The act was committed by a holder of a physician's and surgeon'
s certificate, as defined in the Business and Professions Code, in a
case where, to a medical certainty, the result of childbirth would be
death of the mother of the fetus or where her death from childbirth,
although not medically certain, would be substantially certain or
more likely than not.
(3) The act was solicited, aided, abetted, or consented to by the
mother of the fetus.
(c) Subdivision (b) shall not be construed to prohibit the
prosecution of any person under any other provision of law."

I'm sure you were just kidding anyways but the info is still good...

i would edit my above post but im lazy

Yes the biodiversity is very good for us. Thats how we are here.

I read in a above post about, "illegals busting there rears to make 15 bucks an hour"

Im sorry, but where could i find a job like that. I work on sundays, and whenever i have off. Building additions to houses, and deconstruction and removal. I make...get this...6.25 and hour...

I have a 15 min lunch hour, and 2, 5 minute breaks, On a full day tho.
Technically there doing better than me.

Granted, Althought i use my truck for removing of some materials, they do pay my gas bill while im on the job, but ever company does that. I have a gas guzzeling 5.0.

They get to use power tools to.

Me and my friend were told to have a house stripped down and ready to remove the steel ibeams.
So we went to work with, a hammer, a pry bar, and splitin maul

We pryed up the walls, saved the good wood for sale or future projects, disposed of the absentos (SP?) materials properly. Then i went aroudn to the 2x4s and smashed em until they broke. then grab a tow rope out my truck. Hooked it up the truck and ripped the house a part. flip over the house with a winch, cut off the axels and ibeams, with an big fing hamer and a acetlyne torch.

now we dont normally do singlewides. But hey.

the thing was. There was a group of, proabably illegals( no green card), worked there for about 2 days, All they did was sit on there asses and do nothing. So when they were asked to do work, they either go fired or quit.

Of course i grew up on a farm, so did my buddy. If we arnt working/partying, were bored.

So if you have this so called 15.00 dollar paying job. Let me know...lOL..i need better pay.

Btw me and my buddy are 16 and 17. LOL...

Wow what a thread !
IMHO the key word here is ILLEGAL.
If workers want to come here with visa's to work we have laws to cover that.
Let the market control the how much the pay is.
People who come here breaking the law are a slap to any imigrant who worked to get here the legal way.
Were I work we have russians vietnamese cambonian immigrants that worked hard to come here LEGAL.

100% agree with you.

Try to report ILLEGALS sometime see how far you get.
We need to push for enforcement of laws.
Once someone is here legal they have all the rights that any american citizen has.
Speak what you want, wave any flag you want, pray to any god you want, that's what makes this crountry the greatest in the world.

If they ever recruit for border security. Ill be there. .303 and all.

Really? Let me introduce you to the U S Border Patrol. They are looking for a lot of good men. You might want to know in advance though, as soon as you put that badge on your chest, there is a $100,000 bounty on yer backside. And yes, the illegals will swim the river with guns coming to hunt you down so they can drag your dead body back across the river and collect. Hey, they've even found the Mexican army over here in armored vehicles looking for BP agents so they could collect the bucks. Amazing how the rest of the world never hears about stuff like this. If you decide to join the BPs, make sure you can shoot accurately IN A FIRE FIGHT and can live with killing another human. If you come to the border, it's gonna happen.

For all of the illegal immigrants that are already here, sending them back is not a realistic option. So what do you do with them all? How about give them an option.
Choice A: In order to become a citizen of the U.S. you are to serve a mandatory 2 years in the armed forces. That way while in the armed forces they will be made to learn the language. at least they will have earned their citizenship. If unable to serve in the military due to age, being physically infirm etc.. then they need to participate in a community service regiment. Either one of these choices provides a viable option to being an illegal and it registers there personal info for tracking purposes and background checks.
Choice B: if caught as an illegal then it is a felony and after spending one year in jail you will be deported. If you have a "naturalized infant" born in this country to an illegal then the same rights of citizenship given to other naturalized infants doesn't apply. In the sense of the birth being an accessory to a crime. The "choice B" has to be on the severe side in order to persuade illegals to choose "choice A".

I have no problems with millions of immigrants coming to this country to make a better living. It is a melting pot, in that sense all those who come to this country eventually melt into the American way of life. From all nations people have come to make up the fabric of our society. In the process of "melting" they have all learned our language and integrated into our customs. That should never change for any one group.

Alot of the complaints being aired now are the same as the ones aired back in the early 1900's when the waves of european immigrants came to America. They don't speak english, they are taking all of the jobs, they are raising the crime rate etc....
Every wave of immigrant that has come to America has had "assimilation pains" or growing pains if you will. But the fundamaental difference between then and now is that the immigrants of the 1900's did not expect the country to change for them, they expected themselves to change for the country. To become a productive part of their new society. They also came into this country in a legal manner. They were screened and registered.
To enter into this country in an illegal manner and then demand citizenship is disrespectful to this country. To expect it to change time honor traditions and rituals to suit their lack of respect is insulting. The only thing they can expect from such actions is an indignant backlash from those who had to earn their citizenship or who's forefathers had to earn their citizneship.
I also was liking the idea of giving all those who have been in this country for two years or more citizenship under the ruse that after they had all been sworn in as citizens that you then hit them with income tax bill for two years back taxes or leave the country. But thats a pipe dream.

If your still interested in a career in Border Security the Border Patrol is accepting applications. I don't know about getting to carry the .303 but they do get guns of some sort.
