Tranny ID Help

I Bought a 88 F250 tranny from a Junk Yard was looking in here and found it could be a overdrive one that is not electicaly controled. How can I tell if it is a AOD or a regular C6? Before I put it in my 75 F100 behind a 302.

Count the number of bolts around the pan-
AOD- 14 bolts
C6- 17 bolts
C4/C5- 11 bolts
E4OD- 20 bolts, if I remember right.
