end of life..
greywolf, e1p1, cmk, jake00 and the rest of the guys that have been a huge help.....
it's getting short,, and i think you know what i mean. she asked for her mom to come from Florida, her kids to come from Georgia..
prayers would be a help, thoughts be great, a hand to hold would be priceless. i have the hand covered (i wish). i'm pretty sure it's down to a few weeks. the friggin Dr's opinion is worse than mine. i'm not giving up guys, but the time to get a boot in my *** is now. she does know it's coming, & she is worried about me and the dog. thats priceless. thanks so much guys for being a prop for me during this past yr.
greywolf, if you have 1 more private prayer left.... pm me

We come, we see, we stick around for a while.
No one can really say where we come from, or where we go.
But we know we only borrow our bodies for a while...
The most important things are not physical
It doesn't really matter what toys we collect, or how much money we have
The things that mean the most are the gifts we give to everyone around us
The love, the thoughts, the help, the caring we can do while we are here
We are both students, and after a while TEACHERS all of our lives
But life does not necessarily end when we wear out a body made of clay.
We see through our earth-bound eyes, hear with our ears
Taste, touch and smell. But we know there is more than that.
Whatever that is - I don't think it just goes away.
Edgar Cayce told us that souls come back
I believe it. Think on what Jesus taught...
We never really die, as we think of death.
We are Souls, or Spirits who live on.
When we are done with what we came here for,
We either come back again - or go on to the next place.
This is school. We come here to learn.
The most important lessons are love and caring.
We do not "Pass Away"
We pass on -
We 'Transition'.

Oh Carl. Words cannot express...
Just hold each other as long, and as often as you can.
If she can, have her watch each sunrise, and sunset. If she can't, you do it for her and tell her about it. Like Greywolf said, "This is school". Share yourself as best you can.
She may get angry, or so sad you don't know what to do. Well, you do know...she's told you. Please let her know you'll be all right, eventually...that obviously means so much to her, you gotta let her know you'll try. And we'll be here now, and after, for you.
Praying for you. We're thinking of you more than you know.
Til later,
Erik
