Hello to everyone. I am new to this forum so bare with me. I have a 79 f 150 2wd drive that has been in my family since the 80s. I ordered a stealth intake for it and was wondering if I am going to have a hard time with the water pump bypass fitting. What I mean is, will the new intake come with one or am I going to have to try getting the old one out and pressed into the new intake? Is there a place I can buy one? I also got new gaskets, carb studs, intake bolts, etc. I have done intake swaps before and never had to mess with anything like that fitting. Thanks.
Nice. I do have a holley 750 on it now. Runs good as it is but there's nothing like a new intake to help a motor breath better. I also have a set of hedman hedders bolted to those massive heads. I was considering a cam, lifter and timing chain set too, but that seems like a lot of work especially since i've never done it beford and i am not sure how big I can go with my set up without touching the heads (rockers, springs, pushrods.)
