Can't remember the name of it, but it starts out like," I met her in a crowded bar room. One of those typical Hollywood scenes. I was doing my very best Bogart, but havin' trouble gettin' into her jeans. I punched an unemployed actor, defending her dignity. He knocked me through that barroom door and that girl came home with me. Now baby's feelin funny in the morning. She says she's got a lot on her mind. Nature didn't give her any warning, now she's gotta leave her wild ways behind."
I think its a story of how he met his wife? Good song and good humor in it. I'd actually like to find it.
Can't remember the title at this time, but got the one with him playing the piano, talking about not wanting to leave for the next show... sure is a long song, but I like it all the same.
His album "I'm Alive" is a must hear for all the lovesick young guys who post their stories here...he had Daryl Hannah walk out on him, and wrote about it. She did claim he abused her, but there was something about the way her storyline went that made not trust her version too much. But what do I know, I wasn't there...
"I'm Alive" partial lyrics
I want to go where I will never hear your name
I want to lose my sorrow and be free again
And I know I've been insane
When I think of places I could have been
But I was dreaming of you
With my heart in your hands
And I was following through
With my beautiful plans
Standing here by the highway side
Watching these trucks blow by
Inches from my face
Yeah thinking 'bout the time I've wasted
And the pleasure we once tasted
Looking up and down this road
I've been here before
Can't be here no more
Yeah now I'm rolling down California five
With your laughter in my head
I'm gonna have to block it out somehow to survive
'cause those dreams are dead
And I'm alive
Running on empty
Lawyers in Love
Tender is the Night ( a classic)
Here Come Those Tears again
She's Got to be Somebodies Baby
Angel From Montgomery, with Bonnie Raitt, was a gem
and the eerie "Lives in the Balance" was a must hear.

That is most likely "stay" if not that then it is "the load out" which is like 8:55 min long
That would beit all right, there Greywolf... hear it all the time around here, as the local rock station is for classic... hate the sound of that, as it seems like yesterday it was all new stuff... it's either country, classic rock, or do without around here, not much for the new stuff local. Now if I go 15 miles east, I can get anything, just not at my location, out in the sticks.
