I have been smelling oil while my truck sits idling, and last night while getting home from a 50 mile road trip I was sitting in the McDonalds drive through and I was bellowing smoke out of the CCV hose. My next step is to route this into the exhaust to help burn it up, but today I pulled the oil fill cap off too see how much was coming out there and it was chugging like a locomotive. Is this something I should be worried about?

That oil smell is normal so don't worry about it.Light puff's of white smoke is normal too but i'm not sure about "bellowing" smoke. How many miles on your rig?

Does it puff puff puff puff puff? Or a steady stream of smoke? Puff puff puff puff is bad. Scored cylinder and/or broken rings.
