6.0L headache

2006 F250 hard to start. Ok if truck sits for 5 mins it will start fine. The longer it sits the longer it takes to fire. Noticed on the scanner the oil pressure takes a while to build the longer it sits. Did air leak test and found dummy plug oring on left side leaking. Fixed that , put back together and same thing. Pulled oil cooler out and reservoir was full of oil. At my wits end on this one. Any suggestions?

There's a possibility it is leaking from the stc fitting on the pump. If it hasn't been upgraded it will need to be changed to the one piece fitting. Most do the fitting and both standpipes and dummy plugs at the same time.

Change both standpipes and dummy plugs and the STC fitting. They are known to fail causing the hot nostarts you are describing.
