I am in the process of buying a mid 70's f150. It's a 2wd, got a 68 390-4V and factory AC. I noticed a funny axle code on the tag 15J
It's an C6 truck. all decked out with air, cruise, carpet and a nice seat.
Just can't find a reference for the axle code. I'll be bringing it to the shop this weekend. And it's sitting in a horrendous briar patch, some I'm a little discouraged to go crawling under it.
Next to it is a 61 62 or so F250 I got as well.
$450 for both
If any have a book with the codes..
Thanks!

Excellent thanks!
I figured it was a 3.00 or 3.25.
J for power steering.. Interesting. It does have the PS.
I haven't noticed ford tacking on an extra code like that before...
