I just installed a 6" lift kit and installed 20" rims with 37s tires i need to know do i need to regear my diff and can i also use a superchip will that do me any good
There is a lot of topics on this - if your just driving around without hauling any heavy loads you will be okay with stock gearing - what engine, trans, gears do you currently have?
I had a 04 6.0 with auto, 3.73, and 35" tires and it still accelerated great.

engine and tranny? I'm assuming its a 7.3 with a auto. You should be alright for regular driving. You can always re-gear later. A tuner or chip can always help (or hurt)

I have that set up!
inch w/20-37
I have 6.0 diesel and i think the excursion has plenty and i tow occasional.
I do think the V10 would be good with the regear.
I have 37's and just swapped out my stock 3.73 gears for 4.56's - it was well worth it. The truck feels much more powerful now. A chip or tuner won't be able to for you what lower gears will - and it will take some of the stress off your tranny too, especially if you hot rod or tow. Regear it - you'll be glad you did.
