Electric Fan CFM?

Nor sure about CFM, but a freind of mine used a set of fans from a Dodge Intrepid, says they work good..It is a dual fan set up. I just biught a 2000 Mustang GT fan that I might install on my 93 Lightning. How are you going to wire it up??

Look at www.flex-a-lite.com, on that site you will find info about CFM and the fan sold for a vehicle and it's CFM.
On my 1982, 300 l6 I used a Flex-a-Lite 295. I think the 290 may be the fan for 97 and up.

I think I'm going to wire in a thermostat, and also an manual on switch. I don't really I want the fan to run ALL the time the A/C is on, so I'll use the manual switch to just turn it on if I need it. But it will always come on at 180 degrees F.

If you are going to use a thermostat then put the biggest fan you can fit on the radiator. You can always shut if off but on a really hot day under heavy load more is better. The only thing to watch is some of these fans use a lot of currrent, like 20 or so amps. Most all fan manufacturers publish both the cfm rating and the current draw. If they don't steer clear of them.
