Tranny question

Just wondering, the truck runs and drives,tows fine, but every once in a while if i start the truck and go into reverse the od light flashes. the truck is a 92 f350 crew cab with e4od. I really don't wanna hurt the trans, but the truck already has a trans cool the size of a honda radiator on it. I'm planning on putting a seperate elec. fan on the cooler just to be safe. but any other ideas would be helpful. Thanks

Has it been serviced lately? Did you check for codes? How many miles on it?

How did you hook up the big cooler, all by it's self or inline with the OEM cooler.

oem cooler and this one, their are 90,000 on this trans and it is the second one. the first trans just had the stock cooler. my friend has serviced the trans within 10,000 miles.(i bought the truck off him) and this is my first ford elec. trans so i wouldn't know how or where to get into checking for codes. i do have access to a good code scanner we use on obd 2 cars and trucks, it has a few different plugs for older cars, but again just getting started with this truck and don't know where the plug in is at. Thanks
