There's probably a lot of cross membership. Some of them are easy to spot, you, luke, Nut, ect... Others, may not be so easy. Like, I occasionally see this Rossi fella over at TDS who reminds me a lot of one of the memebers here - same year & model truck with the same mods, even has a guy on a motorcycle as his avitar.
put me on the list. not sure what im bringing, but what do you guys need? yes, ill be dynoing and my shop teacher said he is coming along. hope his plans don't change.
a stock truck will put down about 190hp and 450 lb ft to the rear wheels. my truck SHOULD put out 325hp and around 650 lb ft. if im not mistaken, dockboy's truck with a shot of n2o put around 568 hp and 1187 tq to the ground?
Strokin - guess we are gonna have our own little "TS vs DP" showdown huh?? I think we have just about the same set-ups... with the different chips! Gonna be interesting!! I'm not sure what numbers to hope for - with 307HP and 670TQ being my old #'s.... and considering my mods since then... I don't think 330HP and 7-something TQ are too outa line to hope for...........
I can't wait man - it's gonna be awesome!! My big plan is to get Dockboy to give me and the wife a ride in his truck - and when she see's how it runs - then maybe she'll let me dump some more money on my rig!!
my Diesel tech teacher is a Powerstroke Junkie too, and he will have a pickle all day long. i would love to have a ride in dockboys truck. im grinning just thinking about it.
Man... Greg (Dockboy) gave me and my buddy Dave a ride in his truck back when it was "only" 484hp - and it was scary fast back then!! Talk about "puttin ya back in the seat"!!!
I've done 511/957 on fuel and 612/1187 with nitrous
OMG, my truck is stock , what would I have to spend to get rid of turbo lag when I get on the highway and faster off the line ?? Does anyone know of a shop in NH that installs this stuff ?? I'm good mechanicly but have never done major work to my vehicles and dont have the time with 2 little ones at home..
Thanks for any info... Dunbar
Hey dockbot sounds like quite the weapon you got there. You must have had the block machined for fire-rings to keep the head gasket from popping with that much boost. Are you running an after market cam as well? I'd love to make my rig that torquey!!!!!
