Hey guys, I figured out why my truck rides so level. The original owner removed the bumpstop lift block out of the rear end. . . and put in air bags for the fifth wheel. . . . so where can I get a new lift block/bumpstop? I figure when I lift the truck, that thing will go. . . but I'm not sure, because i can't remember if the lifted trucks need the bump stop arm or not. ANyway, just give your thoughts.

So you plan on using blocks for the rear? not higher springs? Why the bump stops are there so that tires will not sit and ride on the wheel well if you are leaning to one side or another, they just limit the travel for your axle so there isnt any rub. A cheap place to pick them up might be at a wrecking yard, other than that maybe a 4x4 store that could be a little more spendy though.
Which ones do you want - the 4" or the 2" blocks? I have a set of factory Ford 2" blocks (with the bumpstops) laying around collecting dust. You can have 'em for the shipping if you want!
I put the 4" factory blocks on mine - I think they were about $38 each from the dealer.
Hey guys, thanks for the post, and I may be interested in those block cat man, I just have to check to see if my ubolts are going to be long enough, if not, I'll just wait till I get my lift. I do plan on getting a new set of springs for the rear. I'm buying from donahue racing. . . 6 inch lift. Do you know if that system removes the bump stop block? If so I won't both, if it doesn't, I'll be interested. Thanks.
