Bilstein Leveling kit / Titan / Ready Lift rear install : F250

I finally got a day to install my pile of parts. I installed a Titan fuel tank, Bilstein front leveling kit, Bilstein shocks, and Ready Lift rear blocks.

Titan Tank :
I got around to installing my tank yesterday. The front tank support was too tall/long to fit correctly. It would not contact the bottom of the tank when installed, had almost a 1/2" between the support and the tank along the entire bottom of the tank. I ended up throwing a rubber pad on the tank support (shouldn't have needed it since I have the skid) and bent the support around some. It makes contact now on the inboard side but still has a gap on the outboard side. *** EDIT *** got it figured out. I had installed the strap wrong. Got it slid in correctly and it fits perfectly ****
Anyone else have any issue with the front two piece tank support ??
Install was alot easier than expected. I had watched Epic's video and read the provided instructions numerous times.
P/N 7020211 (tank) & P/N 029904 (skid) = $1240 from 4 Wheel Parts (in stock)

Bilstein Leveling kit :
I went with this kit since it came with the Bilstein front shocks I wanted (p/n 24-186018) and replacement coil springs. I did not want to run a spacer on the factory coil spring.
Kit was super easy to install with the provided instructions. I still need to go get an aligment this morning to wrap it up.
P/N F4-SE5-C765-H0 = $352 from 4 Wheel Parts (in stock)

Bilstein Rear shocks :
P/N 24-186025 = $72 (each) from 4 Wheel Parts (in stock)

Ready Lift rear 4" block :
P/N 66-2014 = $125.22 (to my door) from Amazon.com
I had wanted the F350 rear blocks but was having problems with the dealer figuring out which blocks and then trying to tell me the F350 had a 2" block. I gave up when I found the ReadyLift blocks on Amazon. The F350 blocks are 3 3/4" tall and the Ready Lift is 4". I am running Ride-Rite air bags so the 1/4" difference was enough to have to cut the bumpstop ears off the Ready Lift blocks to get them to fit with my air bags brackets. Not a big beal since I am not running bumpstops anyway.

Busy day yesterday but in the end it was great installing the stuff myself and learning while I worked... not to mention saved a few dollars by doing it myself.

The leveling kit on the front got me 2.25" and the 4" blocks on the rear got me 2" of rear lift. Exactly as advertised and what I was looking for.
With 5lbs of air in the bags (the minimum amount) it raises the rear about a +1/4" so I am sitting at almost level, which is what I was going for.

I do not really have any comparision pics but here is some afterwards pics.
Tires are 275/70R18... I am thinking a 35" tire would fill the gap abit.

-
Titan tank hanging down abit. The rear lift block and front leveling kit should have negated any sort of additional hanging down of the tank.

-
Front Bilstein leveling kit

.

.

Rear Ready Lift blocks and Bilstein shocks

-
Had to cut the bumpstop ears off the 4" lift blocks. The ears angled upwards and would not allow the base of the airbags to sit flat and flush on the axle tube. No need for the ears with the air bags so I chopped them off.

I know this is old just subscribing. thinking of the same front and rear lift ideas just no bags...

my996duc1, Did you have to get a new track bar or just the stock set up worked. Does the front springs come in different colors, (was just looking for black). Did you have to add a spacer to the carrier bearing or no after the rear blocks. Do you have any vibrations do to lifting..

Any issues with aligment coming out or any drifting. Was this and is this a trouble free lift since you lifted it.

Sorry for so many questions. I just want to lift my truck a little (like u did) but I do not want any issues with it, (vibrations, alginment issues). If so I would just leave it stock.

Oh yeh, one more thing. You have a diesel I have a V10. I know the weight of your motor is more than mine. So without the bags did you sit level or did it sag a little in the back. My truck is stock and what it looks to me is mine sags a little in the back approx 1/2 inch. i am tring to keep as level as i can. So i was wondering if 5 inch block would be better to keep level or would the 4 inch be just fine. If you know.

thanks
Brian

The front leveling kit was just the springs and shocks. Nothing else to swap or change. I did go get an alignment done per the instructions that came with it.
No problems or issues with it so far. Just got back from a camping trip and no issues towing but my toyhauler is only about 13,000lbs.

Not sure about the weight difference between the gas and diesel engines. I would measure the front and rear to see the difference you have now and go off that.
If the gas engine is lighter you might get the full 2.25" lift out of the front leveling kit.
If you are sitting .5" low in the rear right now and you are going to remove the stock 2" block that would put the rear at 2.5" lower than the front.
2.5" (lower on the rear) + 2.25" (lift in the front) = 4.75" (lower in the rear). I would try a 5" block and then you should be about .25" higher in the rear than the front.
Of course this is all guessing based on your info and without having the truck sitting in front of me.

Does your truck have the heavy service front end or plow prep? I'm assuming it does since your truck is level now and you added 2.25" front and 2" rear. Standard front end on a F250 should be 1.5" lower than the rear.
